Columba Cottage Early Learning Centre is locally owned and operated by St Columba Anglican School. Management is delegated to a Management Committee made up of representatives from the School Council, School executive and the community. The Management Committee oversees the strategic development and financial operations of the Centre and consists of:

Rev. Canon Dr John Barrett OAM (Chair) PhC MPS MAIPM MACPP BA MA PhD DipTheol
John Barrett is the Foundation Chair of St Columba Anglican School (2000-present), Foundation Chair of Columba Cottage Early Learning Centre, Honorary Associate Priest of the Anglican Parish of Port Macquarie, and Corporate Trustee of the Anglican Diocese of Grafton and a member of the Grafton Diocese Schools Commission. John has served four terms in local Government, in Port Macquarie Hastings Council, as Councilor, Deputy Mayor and Mayor. He was also President of the Laurieton Chamber of Commerce for seven years and a member of the Port Macquarie Chamber of Commerce. John was appointed to the Mid North Coast Local Health District Board in 2010. John Barrett is also the recipient of the Rotary Paul Harris Fellowship, Centenary Medal and Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM).

Dr Gordon Burch  M Rur Sc. PhD(UNE) FAIAST
Gordon has a background in rural science and has been awarded a Fellowship of the Australian Institute of Agricultural Science and Technology. Gordon has served as Executive Director to the Australian Science and Technology Council (ASTEC), and was also Chief Scientist to the Australian and New Zealand Food Authority (ANZFA). Whilst living in Canberra, Gordon maintained an active role in the Canberra Goulburn Anglican Diocese, serving for several years on Bishop-in-Council, and was involved in the establishment of Radford College in Canberra. Gordon currently serves as a Lay Minister in the Wauchope Parish, and is a member of the Grafton Diocese Synod. Gordon is also the Chair of the Out of School Hours Services Committee.

Mr Terry Muldoon
Terry Muldoon has been the Principal of St Columba Anglican School Port Macquarie since January 2008. Before taking up his role at SCAS, Terry was the Head of Secondary School and Assistant Principal of Bishop Druitt College Coffs Harbour. Prior to this Terry worked in independent schools in Sydney, the Central Coast and Lismore. He served on the school council of Trinity Catholic College and led their Employment Preparation Program for a decade. Terry also spent eight years working with teachers as a consultant/workshop leader.

Mr Bruce Little
Bruce Little began his teaching career at The Scots College Preparatory School in Sydney as Teacher and Boarding House attendant. Bruce then relocated to The King’s School where he pioneered technology in education and began the first Computerised Classroom liaising with Apple Australia. He was also assistant Boarding Housemaster there. Whilst at the King’s School he undertook to complete a Bachelor of Education.

Mr Garry Clifton
Garry Clifton has been the Business Manager at St Columba Anglican School since November 2013. Garry has worked in accounting firms in Port Macquarie, and has over ten years’ experience in financial analysis, business modelling and forecasting and accounting within organisations such as Telstra, the Australian Defence Force and local accounting firms. Garry is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Australia, and has been a member of the Army Reserve for over 25 years, and currently holds the rank of Major.
