Red Nose Day reduces the number of sudden and unexpected deaths among children and babies, by raising money to support campaigns on safe sleeping, safe wrapping, supervised tummy time, and safe strategies on moving from a cot to a toddler bed. There is also critical research to understand why stillbirth and other sudden deaths occur, as well as continuing to explore the root cause of SIDS.

Red Nose Day at Columba Cottage saw many red-nosed babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers dancing at the disco, playing with a bubble machine, making red nose day hats, playing with twirling ribbons, playing musical chairs and posing for photos in our photobooth. Our pre-schoolers baked cupcakes and then got to enjoy their treats, along with playing pin the nose on the face!

We all loved supporting the Red Nose Day cause to save the lives of babies and children and support people impacted by the death of a child.
